the thing that usually makes or breaks these kits are the instructions. for this kit they seem to be comprehensive enough that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get the thing put together. fun activity to do with elementary school-aged-kids.

I got this from my child to put together. He is grown and he used to be in robotics. This was just something for him to do and to show me how to use it and set it up. He said his relatively simple its not as advanced as a Lego robot set, but he said its a good close second. I know nothing about robotics, but he says that any child should be able to program this and play with it it does so many cool things and he was actually very impressed with it. I wish I could give a very detailed review on this product. Just know that it is approved .

convoluted instructions but otherwise great!
One other small complaint – they use proprietary batteries that are expensive and you don’t have them in your house. But so do all robot kits, so it’s not really a knock against it, and the price reflects this.

Besides the issues with the instructions, the kit is great. We are still working on it; this isn’t one of those monthly crate projects; this is a real robot and requires small parts and precision. Little fingers will have troubles. But compared to the cardboard and wood projects you might be used to this one is a much more interesting thing.

The packed this well into a thick DVD size box. I love building since the Radio Shack Electronic kit days which i still own. Take your time and enjoy this wonderful build. Relaxing for me and for my son. As a college drop out keep on learning. Learn well and do what you love. This kit is amazing. Jam packed with awesomeness!!! Not a fan of bugs and insects but i do robots and robotics. With a 23% off coupon worth every penny. I like to build slowly to savor the moment like fine wine. Then onwards to bigger more advance kits to learn more programming. I learned BASIC back in the 1980s. 10, 20, INPUT, SEEK etc. Made my own games and saved to a cassette tape. Got online with a telephone coupler 🙂 I used a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model III with a CRT green color screen with dual 5 1/4″” disk drives!!!! I hope to buy one again for nostalgia. Enjoy this amazing kit to expand your cerebral mush.
